After much anticipation, Stardoll have finally released a wig store. It is called 'Tress Up' and is an addition to the store Doree. So far there are only 12 wigs, but more will definitely be added. These wigs are relatively cheap, selling from 80 Starcoins to 15 Stardollars. There are also hair 'accessories', selling from 2-4 Stardollars. Here's a quick look at the shop.
The wig craze was sparked by the release of Stardesign Jewellery, when some creative Stardolls started creating wigs out of feathers and other materials. Wigs gradually gained momentum and popularity, gaining interest from the Stardoll staff (including Mette.Stardoll). Presumably, Stardoll have received many requests to make a wig shop, and they may even copy some designs from famous Stardoll wig-makers.
